Account opening process

To open a DotCom account your child will need the following items

1. Two (2) recent passport-size photographs of the student or minor duly attested by the parents/legal guardian.
2. Copy of passport or Birth registration certificate of the student or minor.
3. Student ID or Certificate from the school authority or Receipt of last paid tuition fees.
4. Two (2) recent passport-size photographs of the parents or legal guardians.
5. Copy of NID or Passport or Birth registration certificate of the parents or legal guardian.

Account rules

Withdrawals are limited to a maximum of BDT 5000.00 per month. Interest will not be paid if the total withdrawal exceeds BDT 5000.00 per month. Withdrawals can be made only through debit cards or using point of sale (POS). Or from the Branch counter by the legal guardian. SMS alert to be sent to the guardian’s mobile number against each transaction.

Open an Account

Who can open accounts:

• You can open accounts for children within the age of 6 years to 18 years
• Parents or the guardian of a child can open an account for the child.

What you need to bring: You need the following things to open an account

• The child’s national identity card, postal identity card, or a photograph certified by the school principal
• DotCom Accounts can be opened with a minimum deposit of Tk 100
