If you receive funds through this facility, you can collect the proceeds from any of our online-connected branches. Proceeds can also be collected on holidays through our Holiday Banking Center, located at the Dhanmondi Branch, BEPZA Complex, 19/D, Road No. 6, Dhanmondi. Even if you do not maintain an account with Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, you can still receive inward remittances directly into your accounts with other banks in Bangladesh that are connected via the Bangladesh Electronic Fund Transfer Network (BEFTN). Alternatively, you can receive remittances in your name, which can be collected from any of our branches.

How to receive money through e-Exchange

Remittances received as “Cash Pick Ups”

  1. Sender goes to one of Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC agents in the country and handover the cash and receives a receipt.
  2. Sender calls/SMS the beneficiary and gives the reference number available on the receipt, which is required to collect the remittance in cash over our counters.
  3. Beneficiary goes to the closest Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC branch, holiday banking center or supermarket outlet and collect money.

Remittances received to Bank account

  1. 1. Beneficiary can go to closest Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC ATM and withdraw money as remittances are instantly credited to beneficiary accounts with Commercial Bank of Ceylon.
