Commercial Bank of Maldives, a subsidiary of Commercial Bank of Ceylon and a joint venture with Tree Top Investments Maldives, inaugurated its banking operations in the Maldives in 2016, with the opening of its head office and the first branch in the Maldives’ capital Malé.

The Bank will provide access to its services through the integration of modern technology and infrastructure to serve the growing consumer and business needs in Maldives.

Commercial Bank opened its representative office in Yangon in June 2015, becoming the first Sri Lankan Bank to be granted a license by the Central Bank of Myanmar. We have the largest correspondent banking network in Myanmar that is essential for bilateral trade transactions and for remittances.

Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC (CBC) also known as ComBank is a licensed commercial bank in Sri Lanka and its ownership is private. It was incorporated as a public limited company.The Bank is regarded as the largest private bank in Sri Lanka in terms of net worth and capital. It is also the only private sector licensed bank in Sri Lanka to be designated as the higher-tier domestic systemically important bank according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
