CBC’s Sonargaon Booth Shifted at Royal Tower

Commercial Bank of Ceylon (CBC) relocated its Sonargaon Booth at 4, Panthapath, Royal Tower (1st Floor) on 11th May 2008.

The High Commissioner of Sri Lanka His Excellency V. Krishnamoorthy was present as the chief guest and formally opened the Booth by cutting the ribbon. The Country Manager Mr. S. Renganathan was present and delivered valuable insights into the bank’s operations and future plans in Bangladesh in his address. Members of Management, customers and staff of the bank were also present on the occasion.

Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC opened its 19th outlet in Bangladesh at ‘Hadi Tower’, NW(K)-1, Road #50, Kemal Ataturk Avenue, Gulshan 2. Head Office of the CBC has also been relocated to this location from Motijheel.

The ceremonial opening of the new office took place on November 27, 2016 amidst a large gathering of customers and staff members. Mr Jegan Durairatnam, Managing Director of CBC and Her Excellency Ms. Yasoja Gunasekera, the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka for Bangladesh graced the occasion.
