The Bank has observed the National Mourning Day 2021 with due respect and paying the tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and arranged the following programs :
1) Taken up an Agenda in the 250th Meeting of the Management Committee of the Bank held on 18 August 2021 for highlighting the Life and Contribution of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman for the Independence and Birth of our Country.
2) Sent the Short Message to the Customers via Mobile Phone on 15 August 2021 requesting them to Plant Tree to fulfill the Dream of the Father of the Nation to build the Green Bangladesh
3) Put Banner at different Branches of the Bank with the Tribute Message to the Father of the Nation and the family members
4) Arranged a Virtual Discussion Session on the life and contribution of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on 31 August 2021. All the Head of Departments, Head of Branches, SME Centers and Units have participated in the discussion. The Program was Presided over by Mr. Najith Meewanage, Chief Executive Officer while the Sr. General Manager Mr. Dilip Das Gupta was the Keynote Speaker
5) Chief Executive Officer along with Senior General Manager, Chief Operating Officer and the Members of the Management Committee has planted tree at the bank premises.
